  All major religions teach us to be kind, and there is evidence that religion has existed as far back as 30,000 years ago, so why is it that so many humans lack the kindness gene and the compassion to make the connection that the body parts that fill their bellies were treated with such extreme violence, confinement and brutal cruelty, and never shown an ounce of compassion for their entire duration of their live's here? Disconnect? They don't give a hoot?
  
  Yet they will hoot and holler for their own human cause, never making the connection that human's are not the only Sentient being's on this planet. It say's a lot about our character when we don't speak up for the most helpless among us, the one's that will never be able to speak our language, the one's that open their mouth and all that will ever be uttered is a Moo, an Oink, a Bark or a Cock A Doodle Doo. The Animals deserve our full attention, this perfect veneer of human existence easily comes crumbling down like an avalanche with a simple scratch of the illusion. The same loving hands that created us, created them, and what was Noah's purpose?

  Praise Jesus
  The church social services are above and beyond the call of Jesus. ..
  I use food bank because my income , my health injuries make my trek to food bank feel like Via dol la Rosa experience. ..
  However, l receive an abundance of nutritional foods and receive spiritual guidance that fulfill my badly damaged body and soul ...
  Futhermore, the clothing closet is filled with many articles of clothing to shield my heart from the cold , dark dangers of Long Beach City..
  I hope someday l will reach a point in life l can join this great congregation after l beat this self imposed crisis of drugs , and violence that leads to ???
  I thank you for food till then

  I was greeted outside the door my first Sunday attending. Great church, great people, great pastor, and a strong church when they lost their pastor many many months ago. I can say nothing negative only positive things through the grace of GOD, in JESUS name, Amen.
  Yes, I can honestly say because I've been a member over two years now. I became a member within a week of joining First Baptist Church of Long Beach, California....
